It is owned and operated by Jim Warrack, formally Chief Engineer of Hereward Radio, Q103 FM and Mid Anglia Radio.
Paddock Broadcast Engineering has been set up to provide Broadcast Engineering Consultancy, Installation and Refurbishment for the Radio industry.
Paddock Aviation provides the services of a commercial pilot for both Broadcast and non broadcast operations.

Paddock Broadcast Engineering (PBE) is owned and operated by Jim Warrack.
 
PBE has been involved as part of the Simon Foster Associates (SFA) rebuild of Studio 1 at KLFM which involved the total replacement of the studio equipment and the installation of new racks and cabling as well as interfacing with the existing studio 2.
PBE has also been involved in refurbishing studios for Choice FM as well as the building of a digital studio suite for Capital Disney, both at Capital Radio in London.
In addition PBE was part of the team doing the re-equipping of Century FM in Gateshead with digital studios.

Paddock Aviation can provide the services of a commercial pilot who is experienced in operating a flying eye service for broadcast or other use as well as general aviation operations.

In association with Simon Foster Assosiates we completed the design and build of 99.9 Radio Norwich. The installation included 2 Studios, 2 Booths and a racks room.
Equipment supplied included Sonifex S2 split desks, Station Master and D/As. Paddock Enterprises Mono and stereo swithcers and custom switching.

June to September 2006
Again in association with SFA we completed the supply and technical installation for 102 Town FM in Ipswich.
This installation involved 2 studios 2 booths and a racks room.The studios are equipped with Sonifex S2 split desks The booths have single S2 desks. Other equipment includes Sonifex Station Master, Audionics D/As, Paddock Enterprises mono & stereo switchers and custom switching.
SFA provided the custom woodwork for the studios.

Jim Warrack has over 30 years experience in Radio Broadcast Engineering. He has recently left the GWR group where he was the Chief Engineer for Hereward Radio and Q103 FM.
Jim joined Hereward in 1980 as Chief Engineer and was responsible for the building and operating of the original Studio complex. In the following 24 years he designed and built Hereward Northampton, CNFM in Cambridge and KLFM in Kings Lynn in addition to moving Hereward to a new home.
In recent years both Hereward and Q103 (CNFM) have been extensively refurbished with digital technology, both projects with which Jim was heavily involved.
